Trainer
Name: Ryan Crystalia
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Hometown/Region: Azalea Town, Johto
Role: Breeder, Wannabe-Researcher, part time Coordinator
Weight: 118 lbs
Height: 5'4"
Personality: Ryan is a bit dorky, wimpy, book smart, honest, and a bit shy, but terribly impulsive. Ryan has been surrounded by books his whole life, so out of completely nowhere, he'll take out a book and start reading (though they're usually about legends.). As well as reading books, he's always seen writing notes down about an area and the pokemon that inhabit it. Every new pokemon found is another one added to the list... Unfortunately, this note taking can be taken to extremes, such as Ryan running off in the middle of a conversation to go an observe a pokemon in a tree. Needless to say, the behavior gets him into lots of trouble. Ryan is a rather calm and patient person as well as a bug pokemon expert due to growing up in the same town as the Bug Type gym leader Bugsy (And living next to the Itex forest. Unfortunately, Ryan isn't very forceful in speech nor actions (A pushover to put it shortly.), so he can easily be dragged along into doing something... Unless it goes against his morals.
Likes: Cooking Books and stories Learning about a new pokemon Traveling Pokemon eggs Sketching (though he can hardly draw a stick figure.)
Dislikes: People pushing him around (although it's very easy). Running (But only complains afterward) Heights (Unless looking at a pokemon... As to which he just screams like a little girl after he's done, realizing he's in the air.) Getting angry The thought of evolving a pokemon with a stone (Feels it's against the pokemon's wishes.) Battling (If he does battle, he tries to end it quickly... Though usually with some kind of status defect that leaves the foe useless.) Arguing (It's very irritating.) People asking about his hair (He can't help it!). Snake pokemon (If Ryan can help it, he steers clear of them. He had a bad childhood experience).
Bio: When Ryan was younger (Maybe five or six), he was playing in the Itex forest, only to see a strange green fairy-like creature sitting on the forest guardian's shrine. Whilst going to take a closer look, Ryan was promptly attacked by a Team Rocket Grunt in the area for trespassing (This was around the time Team Rocket was running around, making a mess out of Johto). In running for his life, Ryan managed to trip over some tree roots and find himself trapped between the jaws of an Arbok and the forest floor. Needless to say, the experience scarred Ryan for the rest of his life, giving him a deathly fear of snake-like pokemon and Team Rocket. Since the young boy was only a small child, he merely squeezed his eyes shut, in a naive hope of the Team Rocket Grunt and his pokemon disappearing. As the seconds dragged on, Ryan found himself reopening his eyes after there was no harm. He was surrounded by a strange cage-like structure of thorns. In that strange bravery people have in the face of terror and confusion, Ryan found himself looking toward the shrine again, and only catching the faint glimmer of green sparkles and the realization that the Grunt and his pokemon were gone. It would be years later that Ryan would realize he'd been saved by the Voice of the Forest, Celebi. The young man would then make it his life-long goal to meet this fairy pokemon and see if what happened really was real. Years later, after Ryan heard of a strange place know as the "Rainbow Region", Ryan decided he should set out and try to become stronger as to achieve his dreams... But then again, he simply wants to improve in areas of Pokemon raising as well (And to do that, one must leave home!).
Pokemon
Nickname/Species: Apple (Ledian) Gender: Male Level: 19 Ice Punch Silver Wind Safeguard Secret Power Moves: Personality/Bio: Kindhearted Curious Helpful Loyal Apple was given to Ryan on his tenth birthday in the shape of a poke-a-dotted pokemon egg. The ledian is at a rather low level due to Ryan's inability dislike of battling and his only real use being that of being both Ryan's friend and research partner. Even for being only at level nineteen, Apple can lift Ryan to considerable heights to help him study pokemon.
Nickname/Species: Blade (Scyther) Gender: Male Level: 14 Moves: Pursuit False Swipe X-Scissor Night Slash Personality/Bio: Rash Hotheaded Intelligent (In Battle, Not so Much Elsewhere.) Childish Blade was given to Ryan by someone standing at a mysterious stall just handing out Scythers (Giveaway Sunday ). Blade is constantly trying to get Ryan to try and train him and in return is trying to teach Ryan how to battle (Since Scyther is a physical attacking pokemon, actual battling must take place... Though it's not like he listens to Ryan anywhozals...)... Unfortunately, in his impatience to get strong, Blade often leads Ryan into troubling situations; such as getting lost, attacked by wild pokemon and in some extreme cases, injuries.
Nickname/Species: Willow (Stantler) Gender: Female Level: 27 Moves: Hypnosis Confuse Ray Psyshock Energy Ball Personality/Bio: Calm Graceful Gentle Motherly Willow is a caring soul, given to Ryan after he helped give out some presents on Christmas. Rocky is aggressive on first meeting, but he's really just a bit nervous since he'd lived in the Black Cave his whole life. He does like Ryan, but usually will take a battle into his own hands.
Nickname/Species: Puzzle (Plusle) Gender: Female Level: 8 Moves: Discharge Quick Attack Sing Thunder Wave Personality/Bio: Cheerful Childish Mischievous Flamboyant Puzzle, unlike her "brother", is more of a troublemaker and enjoys exploring and she enjoys hanging around Apple when she's not with Mint. Although Mint is one of the younger in the group, he's more of a babysitter that likes to keep an eye out for everyone; he likes to be around Willow, seeing as she's the most calm and motherly of the group. He's like the little kid who just became a big brother and wants to see their sibling grow to be someone good. (A Sunday Pokemon)
Nickname/Species: Kiwi (Zubat) Gender: Female Level: 9 Moves: Supersonic Astonish Leech Life Double Team Personality/Bio: Nervous Timid Instinct Based Loving Kiwi was caught by Ryan when he was with Moe in the Black Cave. Kiwi enjoys sitting on Ryan's shoulder, nuzzled between his neck and his bandanna, she's also a bit of the baby of the group and has a tendency the love-bite people (much to Ryan's distress).
Nickname/Species: Pond (Lotad) Gender: Male Level: 13 Moves: Absorb Astonish Razor Leaf Water Gun Personality/Bio: Air-headed Gentle Hydrophobic Lazy Pond... (Sunday Pokemon).

Relationships
Claire Cerberus [Thor] [link]: Ryan finds Claire to be a bit nervous and shy (he can relate), but seemingly nice! she's the first person he has spoken to on the island! (He actually doesn't know her name yet.)
Moe [link]: She is just the sweetest thing! Ryan's first friend here in the Rainbow Region! He finds her to be a kind and sweet individual that is nice to spend time chatting with. He met her in the Golden Forest on Christmas Eve, during a time where Moe's pokemon were attacked at the Black Cave by a gravler(Rocky).
Where would you like it to take place? I'm still a bit new to everything =u=;;
Ryan... will probably be running around like an idiot XD
